Each time I ask myself what destiny awaits humanity and the planet as a whole, I go through different options, trying to build logical chains of how our civilization could develop, but I always return in my thoughts to the fact that history is cyclical. Countless species of animals and other life forms have repeatedly disappeared from the face of this planet for various reasons. During the End-Permian extinction event alone, up to 96% of sea creatures and 73% of terrestrial vertebrates disappeared. I am afraid that something similar awaits humanity, because we do not have special abilities to survive in extreme conditions, so the cataclysm seems to me the most likely outcome, and the Earth will again become like in the picture: quiet and calm. One day.
